Fear Clinic the Musical is the story of a mysterious clinic that can cure people’s phobias. The story follows five patients –
- Rose, an obsessive-compulsive woman,
- Jeff, who is afraid of commitment,
- Gina, a pregnant woman afraid of babies,
- Joseph, a priest who is afraid of public speaking, and
- Norman, who is afraid of drowning.
Perky nurse Nan guides them through the clinic’s rules and regulations. The main rule is that each patient must correctly identify their greatest fear in order for their cure to work. So in the waiting room, each patient must wonder if they really know what they’re afraid of.
